1. RV Details

1.1 RV Description. Owner rents to Renter the following recreational vehicle ("RV"):

All such items must be returned with the RV in substantially the same condition, reasonable wear and tear excepted.

2. Rental Term, Pickup, and Return

2.1 Rental Period. The rental period begins on:

2.2 Pickup Location. Renter shall take possession of the RV at:

2.4 Condition at Pickup. 2.5 Late Return. If the RV is returned after the agreed Return Date and Time without written extension, Owner may charge additional rental fees at [Amount] per hour and any related costs caused by the late return.

3. Rental Fees, Deposit, and Payment

3.1 Rental Rate. Renter shall pay Owner rental fees as follows:

3.2 Security / Damage Deposit. Before taking possession, Renter shall pay a refundable security deposit of [Currency and Amount] ("Security Deposit"). 4. Mileage, Generator Use, Fuel, and Propane

4.1 Mileage Allowance.

5. Use of RV and Occupancy

5.1 Permitted Use. The RV may be used only for lawful recreational travel and temporary lodging by Renter and the authorized occupants listed below.

5.2 Authorized Drivers. Only the following persons may operate the RV (if motorized):

    Each driver must hold a valid driver's license appropriate for the RV and meet all age and driving-record requirements specified by law and Owner.

    5.4 Travel Area and Roads. Renter may travel with the RV within the following area:

    Renter shall not:

    6. Condition, Maintenance, Cleaning, and Waste Tanks

    6.1 Renter's Duty of Care. Renter shall:

    • Use the RV carefully and safely;
    • Follow manufacturer instructions for systems and equipment;
    • Keep the RV locked and secure when unattended;
    • Protect the RV from avoidable damage, freezing, or water intrusion.

    6.2 Routine Checks. During the Rental Period, Renter shall monitor:

    • Engine oil and coolant levels (if motorized);
    • Tire condition and pressure;
    • Operation of lights, brakes, and signals;
    • Water, propane, battery, and waste tank levels.

    6.3 Cleaning. Renter shall return the RV in reasonably clean condition, including:

    • Interior swept and wiped down;
    • Trash removed;
    • Dishes washed and stored;
    • Refrigerator emptied;
    • Bedding and linens handled as agreed.

    If extra cleaning is required, Owner may charge a cleaning fee of [Currency and Amount] or the actual cost of professional cleaning.

    6.4 Waste Tanks. Renter is responsible for properly emptying and rinsing the black and grey water tanks before returning the RV, unless the Parties agree otherwise. If waste tanks are not returned empty, Owner may charge a dumping fee of [Currency and Amount] per tank or a flat fee of [Currency and Amount].

    7. Insurance and Risk of Loss

    7.1 Insurance Coverage.

    7.3 Risk of Loss. Except to the extent caused by Owner, Renter bears the risk of loss, theft, or damage to the RV and included equipment from pickup until return and acceptance by Owner.

    8. Accidents, Damage, and Security Deposit

    8.1 Accidents and Incidents. In the event of any accident, injury, damage, theft, or incident involving the RV, Renter shall:

    • Ensure safety and contact emergency services if needed;
    • Notify law enforcement if required by law;
    • Notify Owner as soon as reasonably possible;
    • Provide Owner with details of the incident and copies of any reports.

    8.2 Responsibility for Damage. Subject to any applicable insurance or waivers, Renter is responsible for:

    • Physical damage to the RV interior and exterior;
    • Damage to awnings, slide-outs, steps, or leveling systems;
    • Broken or missing equipment or accessories;
    • Tire damage not caused by normal wear;
    • Costs of towing, recovery, and storage relating to the RV.

    8.3 Use of Security Deposit. Owner may apply the Security Deposit to cover any unpaid fees, fuel or propane charges, cleaning or dumping fees, late return fees, and repair or replacement costs for damage or missing items, and shall provide an itemized statement of any deductions.

    9. Traffic Violations, Tolls, and Campground Rules

    9.1 Violations and Fines. Renter is responsible for all parking tickets, traffic violations, tolls, campground fines, and similar penalties incurred during the Rental Period.

    9.2 Administrative Fees. If Owner receives notices of violations or tolls, Owner may pay or transfer them as permitted and charge Renter the amounts plus an administrative fee of [Currency and Amount] per incident.

    9.3 Campground and Park Rules. Renter shall comply with all campground, RV park, and public land rules, including check-in/check-out times, quiet hours, hookup rules, fire and BBQ rules, and occupancy limits.

    10. Cancellation, Changes, and Early Return

    10.1 Cancellation Policy. Renter acknowledges the following cancellation terms:

    11. Indemnity and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Renter shall indemnify and hold Owner harmless from third-party claims, damages, fines, and expenses arising from Renter's or any authorized driver's use or occupancy of the RV during the Rental Period, except to the extent caused by Owner's intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

    11.2 Owner's Liability. To the extent permitted by law, Owner is not liable for:

    • Loss or damage to Renter's personal property or belongings in the RV;
    • Loss or damage to any items carried in or on the RV;
    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
    • Loss of enjoyment, lost profits, or trip interruption.

    12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

    12.1 Governing Law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of [State/Province, Country], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

    12.2 Dispute Resolution. The Parties shall first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute arising from this Agreement through informal discussions.
